... in some great surroundings
Many of us have found time to pursue new interests during the pandemic, often because we have been denied some of the simple pleasures we have always taken for granted.
From new hobbies, to reading more, to taking more physical (and mental) exercise, there have been numerous opportunities for us to keep busy. But it’s sometimes those simple things that we miss most – take a bite to eat and a cup of coffee with friends or family as an example.
Cafes are an integral part of our communities, yet like so many businesses they have faced a period of shutdown followed by a new way of operating. But we are nothing in the UK if not innovative, and café owners have adapted to new circumstances and relished the challenge.
One such example is Oxford Brunch Bar, a small, independent café based in the City of Dreaming Spires. The owners turned to Zero Point 8 when a full interior fit-out was required, including all ceilings, walls and floors, working on the kitchen, the counter/display and the seating area. We worked with the café to ensure that we not only met their brief, but that we reflected the ethos behind the company too: “Not only does our food taste as it should, but it is produced in the best conditions.”
In doing so, we have helped to create an environment in which customers not only enjoy their food and drink, but one to which people also want to return time and again. From the moment we are appointed, to the last finishing touches being applied, we provide a full service encompassing an analysis of the requirement, design, manufacture, installation and after-care. In other words, Zero Point 8 always looks to be the complete solution for business.
And at a time when companies face a myriad of different challenges, it is appealing to be able to turn to one organisation to bring to life what’s in your mind’s eye. In a world where contact with others is often ‘virtual,’ it’s important that the experience of going into a café is something that customers cherish.
Whether catching up with friends, meeting family or getting together for business, cafes are a vital cog in our towns and cities. They are the lifeblood of the places in which we gather, and as a British business ourselves, Zero Point 8 loves helping them remain an important part of everyday life.
A quick cuppa may be one of the simple pleasures we can now access as life begins to return to normal, but it’s one we shouldn’t take for granted.
